In this role, Hamel's primary responsibility is creating and directing innovative and thoughtful strategic solutions to complex marketing and communication challenges in digital campaigns, content marketing, marketing and brand strategies, as well as UI/UX and customer journeys on behalf of a portfolio of clients.

Hamel joined the fishbat team in June 2021 after serving as a freelance resource. She brings over 20 years of experience providing strategy, branding, creative direction and design to agencies and various corporate clients directly. In her new role, Hamel is growing trusted client relationships by creating high-impact strategic digital ad campaigns, engaging content marketing plans and leading fishbat's digital and creative teams in executing those concepts for a range of clients across many vertical markets.

Hamel holds a BFA with an emphasis in design and marketing. Before joining the fishbat team, she did everything from freelancing to working for other boutique ad agencies and serving 13 years as Vice President of Creative Services for a company where she led a 35-member team of designers, animators and post-production assistants creating motion graphic advertisements. She's also a member of the American Marketing Association (AMA) and American Advertising Federation (AAF).
