The online fundraising campaign brought together thousands of tattoo enthusiasts to celebrate self-expression and compete for $20,000 and a feature in Inked Magazine.<\/p>\n

Benefiting the New Freedom Project<\/strong><\/p>\n

The 2023 competition operated as a fundraising campaign on behalf of DTCare<\/a>, a nationally registered 501(c)(3) charity\/charitable grantmaker. The funds raised during the Inked Originals Competition went directly to DTCare, which will subsequently issue a grant to the New Freedom Project<\/a> (NFP) totaling nearly $2 million. This donation will assist with the organization\u2019s mission to mentor inmates during the reentry process through peer-to-peer relationships, vocational training, and services that protect the community and inspire dignity by empowering the innate goodness in every human being.<\/p>\n
